MOVEMENT FOR FUN

& TEAM BUILDING

TFL staff

end of the year party celebration

UMD International was commissioned by TfL to support one of their end of year staff parties. Our experienced Movement Coaches came along to help get the party started with movement-based team building exercises, games and activities.

"I was the new one at my station and this was a great way for me to get to know my team members!"

MOVEMENT FOR FUN

FITNESS

Hoxton Hall

after school provision

UMD International was invited to supplement Hoxton Hall's dynamic after-school programme with movement-based recreational activities, challenges, games and tasks throughout the term; culminating in a youth-centred end of term presentation and performance onstage for other young people, parents and members of the public to see.

"The children absolutely love the UMD sessions, the team is great and I have seen the children's confidence and ability grow week on week; and the show blew me away!"

MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE

Tricycle Theatre's young refugees' project

Now known as Kiln Theatre, Tricycle Theatre approached UMD International with a bespoke request to use movement as part of their young refugee programme, aimed at getting young refugees into schools in London. Understanding the cognitive and emotional benefits of our provision, UMD was able to provide the young people with a safe space for expression and enhance their use of the English language through movement all with the common denominator of fun.

"It was great for the young people to continue their learning outside of the classroom, they had a chance to share their experiences and the dance floor became their megaphone!"
